VBS Registration 2018
Vacation Bible School will take place July 9-13, 2018! This year’s theme is Surfin’ with the Holy Spirit and is all about living with holy daring, the courage to do what is right and to share our faith. We’ll hear all about great saints who lived with boldness: St. John the Baptist, St. Therese, St. Francis Xavier, Fr. Tolton & Mary Mother of the Church. It’s a beach-themed week so we’ll have great decorations, crafts and snacks that are all about living the summer life.
When: Monday, July 9th - Friday, July 13th from 9 a.m. - Noon daily (Performance on Friday at 11:30 a.m. followed by snacks and a celebration carnival)
What: Music, Games, Snacks, Crafts and MORE that all help teach kids about God's plan for us, what Catholics call our vocation. We'll talk more specifically about priesthood, religious life, married life and single life.
Who: Open to all kids entering Pre-K through 5th grade. Middle Schoolers, Teens and Adults are invited to volunteer, information at comonewman.org
Pre-K is ages 3 and 4
Cost: $35 per child, Scholarships available. You can pay online or at check-in on the first day of VBS, July 9, 2018 with cash or check to Newman Center. If you're seeking a scholarship, please check pay online and email me at [email protected]
T-shirts are included for VBS participants but NOT volunteers this year. T-shirts will be available for volunteers to purchase.
Handbook: Our parent handbook contains policies that you should be aware of concerning the religious education program at the St. Thomas More Newman Center. You can download the handbook on the CEP & EDGE website page.
The fee for VBS this year is $30/kid to cover the program cost, food & supplies.
We are not able to accept payments until July 1st so that all payments will be in the same fiscal year as VBS. If you register now, we'll make online payments available in July or you can pay with cash or check on the first day of VBS.
