We are offering in-person and online or learn at home options. We understand that this year we face a unique situation and you are likely to need more details. For more information, please contact [email protected] or 573-449-5424 x 203.
We will ask that families register to attend in-person or online to begin but we can be flexible if your family feels that you need to make changes as the year goes on.

Covid Related Changes and Guidelines
Click here for Safety Procedures for in-person learning
All in-person students will meet indoors with desks and tables 6ft apart or outdoors.
Prek-1st will ONLY meet outdoors and we will be in touch with families in advance if weather causes cancellations.
Those meeting indoors (2nd-5th grades) will use only personal supplies, and will be required to wear masks.
2nd grade will meet in a single-grade group as usual to help kids prepare for 1st Reconciliation and 1st Communion
3rd-5th will be combined to allow flexibility as in-person and online numbers go up and down due to individual needs and concerns from our CEP families and teachers.
Quick Notes on Online Learning/Supply Check-out
Prek-1st Graders can register to check-out materials rather than meet in person. These materials will be cleaned between families or will be totally disposable/single family use. Materials are from our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program and will come with family guides. They are attractive, mostly handmade and we hope can be a source of discussion and shared prayer and learning for families. We have materials that will change with the liturgical season and will tailor them a bit due to your child's age and your family's feedback.
Quick Notes on Registration
You can register multiple kids using this form and it will work for in-person or online/supply check-out registration.
It is possible to switch from in-person to online or vice versa as the year goes on. We will likely reevaluate our offerings prior to the spring semester as the Covid situation changes and families and teachers give feedback on classes. Please contact Emily if you feel that your family needs to switch. We will be in regular contact with you via email.
FEES: Cost for either CEP is $50/child (in-person or zoom/check-out). Scholarships are available. There is a small fee to pay online but you can also pay via cash or check at the Newman Center office or on the first day of classes.
HOME SCHOOLING: You are welcome to only buy a text book from us and home school for religious ed this year (with limited support from the parish office/volunteers). If that's what you'd like to do, please do NOT fill out this registration and contact Emily at the email or phone number above.
